The Marx and Philosophy Society aims to encourage scholarly engagement with, and creative development of, the philosophical and foundational aspects of Marx's work. The society welcomes contributions from any philosophical or political position.
The Marx and Philosophy Society's email list, mpslist@topica.com, aims to serve as a bulletin board to post notices of forthcoming events and books, and reports of newly appeared books and recent conferences, that are relevant to the aims of the Society. The list is not intended as a discussion list.
Anyone, whether or not a member of the Society, can join the list by visiting Topica or emailing the list owner Sean Sayers at s.p.sayers@kent.ac.uk.
The Marx and Philosophy Society and the Marx and Philosophy Review of Books are entirely supported by voluntary contributions. All contributions no matter how small are much needed and greatly appreciated. Funds will be used to enhance the web site and to cover running and maintenance costs. All those who register for the annual conference become members of the Society for a year. Supporters will also automatically become members of the Society and the registration fee at our annual conference will be waived for them.
